The CRASIF membership re-elected Doug Robidoux from Mason, Jerry Smigelski from Presque Isle, and Bob Ottenhoff from Luce to the board of trustees at it’s Annual Membership Meeting on July 23.  Doug Rodidoux fills the northern seat and the at-large seats were filled with the other two candidates.  The terms are for three years. CRASIF awarded a Risk Control Grant to three members who were in attendance at the 2014 Annual Membership Meeting.  Mackinac CRC was awarded a grant for $500.  Marquette CRC received a $750 grant.  Saginaw CRC was awarded a $1,000 grant.  The grant goes to pay for employee safety training, programs and resources.

CRASIF honored the Roscommon CRC with the first Turn-Around Award at our Annual Membership Meeting on July 23.  The award recognizes the road commission member that has the largest positive turnaround in their experience modification factor from the previous year.  Roscommon was able to see a 31.22% positive change from their previous year.  Keep up

CRASIF announced the inductees who made the 2013-14 Loss Prevention Honor Roll at their 2014 Annual Membership Meeting held in Mount Pleasant on July 23.  Three road commission members had the best experience modification factor in their respective payroll categories.  Bay CRC had the best experience modification factor in the $12M to $2.9M category.  Newaygo

Forty-eight members were added to the 2013-14 Loss Prevention Honor Roll at the CRASIF 2014 Annual Membership Business Meeting on July 23 held in Mount Pleasant Michigan at the Soaring Eagle Resort and Conference Center.  The Honor Roll recognizes members whose experience modification factor is below 1.0. as of July 1.  Congratulations to our 2014
