Congratulations to the CRA Straits Area Council! Every one of the council members made it on the 2016 CRASIF Honor Roll for having an experience modification factor lower than 1.0 for the 2015-16 coverage year. It is the first time we have had a whole council achieve such a feat. The council includes the following

The following members received risk control grants on September 14 at the CRASIF Annual Membership Meeting: $500 – Mackinac, $750 – Cheboygan, and, $1,000 to Presque Isle. The purpose of the grant is help off-set the costs for investing or upgrading safety equipment or training. Congratulations to all!

The Board of Trustees elected Doug Robidoux (Mason) as chair and Mary Herman (Marquette) as vice-chair for the 2016-17 coverage year.  Doug was the former vice-chair and took Joyce Randall’s place after Joyce declined to run for another year.  Congratulations to Doug and Mary.  Thank you Joyce for your outstanding leadership during the past 5

The membership re-elect Mary Herman (Marquette), John Hunt (Huron) and Joyce Randall (Mecosta) to the Board of Trustees for 3 year terms.  The election results were announced at the 38th Annual Membership Meeting on September 14.  Congratulations to all!

CRASIF’s Annual Membership Meeting will be held on September 14 at the Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls MI.  The day long meeting will include an educational session at 10 am, followed by a lunch, then a business meeting at 1:30 pm.  More information will be released soon.
