The Board of Trustees recognized three members for the lowest experience modification factor in three different payroll groups at our Annual Membership Meeting on July 23.  The three members are:  St. Clair, Newaygo and Leelanau CRC.  Berrien CRC was recognized for having the biggest positive experience modification factor turn around in the last 12 months. 

The CRASIF Board of Trustees issued three Risk Control Grants at the CRASIF Annual Business Meeting on July 23.  The Award winners were: Muskegon $500, Wexford $750 and Allegan $1,000.   The Grant program provides financial assistance to members for implementing safety initiatives during the next 12 months.

The membership elected Mr. Ken Hulka from Muskegon CRC, Mr. Dale Linton from Montcalm CRC and Mike Larabee from Delta CRC to a three term on the Board of Trustees.   The results of the election were announced at the CRASIF Annual Business Meeting in Mount Pleasant on July 23.  The board then re-elected Ms. Joyce

Registration is now open for the 2015 Insurance Conference to be held on July 22 and 23 in Mount Pleasant at the Soaring Eagle Resort and Conference Center!  NEW THIS YEAR IS THAT THE CONFERENCE SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED.  We will have all the educational safety and risk management sessions on one day (Wednesday July 22)

We were saddened to hear about the passing of two former Trustees, Don Spray and Don Holt.  Both passed within one week of each other.  Don Holt was a Trustee for 24 years (1984-2008) serving four years as Chair and three as Vice-Chair.  Don Spray was a Trustee for 9 years (2004-2013) and served as

The 2015-16 Payroll Estimate Form is now available in the member’s folder on the website.  The deadline is March 25, 2015.

The 4th quarter invoices are now available in the members invoice folder.  Payment is due by March 10.

CRASIF and Mackinaw Administrators announced today personnel changes to the Claims Team.  Erin McBride, our senior claims supervisor, has been promoted to Claims Manager.  She will continue to be actively involved in our claims.  Our new Lost Time Senior Claims Adjuster is Brandy Eberly.  Our new Medical Only Adjuster is Cassie Rounding.  Our new claim

CRASIF and Mackinaw Administrators are excited to announce the addition of Ms. Melanie Greene to the risk management team effective January 1, 2015!  Melanie is a recent graduate of Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.  She has a passion for safety and looks forward to serving the CRASIF
